Chuk Tai Wai 祝大為

I am a second-year undergraduate in philosophy at New Asia College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. I work on Chinese philosophy, and I am writing a paper on how classical texts should be read, developed from four essays that Professor Cheng Chung-yi (鄭宗義) invited me to bring together for publication.

I co-founded CU Philosophy Review and serve as its Chief Editor. The journal records how philosophers at CUHK found their paths, so that current and future students can hear those voices in one place. The first issue, on women in philosophy, appears in October 2026.

I came to philosophy late. I left a business programme at HKUST after two years, worked five years in security while reading on night shifts, and entered CUHK at twenty-five. That route shapes how I work, and it is why I care about building things that outlast the people who start them. In English correspondence I go by Wisdom.
